The candidate selected will help create, manage, and optimize data solutions.What You’ll DoCreate, maintain, and tune complex SQL scriptsCreate and maintain existing SQL-based custom reportsMaintain complex data modelsCreate and maintain data interfaces (scripted ETL) between our on-premise Oracle environment and MS SQL Server on the Azure-based platformBuild and maintain Oracle Data Marts and associated ETL processesDemonstrate familiarity with Inmon data warehousing principles and business intelligence data architectureUtilize strong analysis and data reconciliation skills; an accounting background is a plusImport/export data from SQL Server/Oracle XML and CLOB queries and convert data to standard Oracle tablesComplete tasks with minimal direction, meet requirements as documented, and follow team procedures and processesDocument processes used to complete tasks and adhere to the team’s QA/documentation processAnalyze existing data structures and queries, develop/update reports, queries, data loads, and interfacesAccurately develop database queries, reports, data loads/extracts logically from scratchCreate new and maintain/tune existing SQL queries and proceduresCreate and maintain existing SQL-based custom reportsWhat You'll NeedRequired:7 years of experience as a Senior Database Analyst/ArchitectBS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subjectExtensive experience in all aspects of Oracle SQL programming and query manipulationExperience working with MS SQL Server databasesExtensive experience working with large sets of data and resolving data-oriented issuesExtensive experience with data profiling and data quality assurance, including creating an audit trail for peer review of work completedExtensive experience in tuning queries for optimal performanceAbility to work directly with business users to quickly translate business reporting requests/requirements and produce a vetted work productStrong communication skills, both written and oralAbility to investigate and identify query performance-related issuesCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood time-management skillsSense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the team's successPreferred:BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subjectPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetingsAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorThe pay range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 annually (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
