These services cover a range of support categories including management, engineering, maintenance, supply, data, training, continuous support, infrastructure, logistics, and personnel. The primary objective of these diverse services is to ensure warfighting readiness across the globe by increasing the operational availability and mission effectiveness of all currently deployed and future TIGS SoS.Responsibilities:Lead the team in achieving daily, iteration, and release goals and delivery objectivesImplement, enforce, and continually improve Agile/Scrum principles/ practicesAssess team's Agile maturity and coach teams to higher levels of maturityProvide mentoring and training for the team on Agile processes, methods, and practicesServe as the leadership proxyProactively seek opportunities to use process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to facilitate improvements to team processesFacilitate positive team dynamics to help maximize team performanceIdentify and remove impediments to help protect the team from outside influences, which could otherwise interfere with the team’s ability to deliverExperience in managing professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignmentsLeads, directs, and reviews the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignmentsManages a team with a focus on policy, implementation of strategic initiatives and execution of day to day deliverables.Qualifications:Required:
  • Must hold an active TS with SCI preferred. Ability to obtain SCI required
  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate meetings with diverse groups of stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with change management tools
  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: at least five (7) years related experience; particularly working on government contracts
  • To be a coach and have a positive attitude. This is not a project manager position, although our SMs are leads that enable the product teams to succeed
Desired:
  • Advanced SM certifications
  • Multiple years leading Agile teams
  • Application development experience in web applications, ServiceNow, and/or data analytics
  • Experience supporting Federal government project
  • Experience supporting modernization, cloud, initiatives
  • Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas
  • Experience working in a dynamic, multifaceted environment
  • Acts independently to expose and resolve challenges
