As a role model and trusted resource, you will inspire confidence, support skill development, and strengthen our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality hospice services.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess the learning needs of new nurses and collaborate to create individualized orientation plans with clear goals and outcomesProvide orientation covering hospice clinical policies, procedures, documentation, technology, compliance, and regulatory requirementsMentor, coach, and role model best practices in patient care, professional conduct, and clinical documentationPlan and facilitate targeted clinical learning experiences to promote knowledge, skills, and competencyDeliver timely, constructive feedback to support professional growthEvaluate preceptee readiness for independent practice and make recommendations to leadershipConduct patient home visits in accordance with physician orders, ensuring compassionate, skilled careMaintain accurate, timely documentation as required by company policy and regulationsAdvise patients on available services and refer to community resources when appropriateCollaborate with leadership to support initiatives that enhance clinical quality and the patient experienceAbout YouQualifications – What You’ll Bring:Diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in NursingCurrent, unencumbered RN license in assigned work stateMinimum of 2 years clinical nursing experiencePrior nursing experience as a preceptor, mentor, or educatorCurrent CPR certificationValid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insuranceStrong clinical knowledge and ability to teach and mentor effectivelyExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsHighly organized with strong time management abilitiesComfortable working independently while collaborating within a team environmentProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, EMR systems, and mobile technologyPreferred (Not Required):Hospice nursing experienceWe OfferBenefits for All Associates (Full-Time, Part-Time & Per Diem):

Compensation may vary within the salary range provided based on several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications and department equity.
