  • Collect, analyze, and present data for trends and organization compliance with regulatory and accreditation bodies.
  • Assist the Quality and Risk Director and the organization with regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure required chart audits are completed concurrently and reported to the designated quality committees.
  • Work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support quality improvement.
  • Support the professional staff peer review committee through case review and concurrent screening of outcome indicators such as mortality case review and readmission review.
  • Submit required data to regulatory and accrediting bodies on an ongoing basis.
  • Facilitate continuous survey readiness activities, including participation and documentation of work orders and completion in hospital and clinic Environmental Rounding.
  • Collect, aggregate, and trend safety event occurrence data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate and facilitate with others to analyze sentinel or potential high-risk low-volume activity through the Root Cause Analysis & Action (RCA2) process. Provide clinical SBAR for review by the RCA2 Team.

  • Associate's degree required (Bachelor’s degree preferred) in Nursing or related field
  • Current unrestricted Oregon RN license
  • CPHQ Certification or similar Nationally recognized Quality and/or Risk Management Certification (CPHRM) within 2 years of employment
  • Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Excel and online data entry systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with demonstrated leadership ability
  • Adaptable communication skills to a wide variety of encounters with the healthcare team
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills, self-directed, motivated behavior
  • Ability to develop and maintain supportive, collaborative relationships with physicians
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and issues and understand the regulatory and reimbursement impact of those decisions
