CACI is seeking highly skilled polyglots with an active TS/SCI clearance and adjudicated polygraph to join our mission-focused team in Fairfax, VA. As a linguist professional, you will use your language expertise to support critical government operations, working on projects that have a direct national security impact.Required QualificationsActive TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated polygraphAbility to pass an advanced English proficiency testAbility to achieve ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test (Korean)Minimum of 3 years professional experience in translation, transcription, and/or interpretationIn-depth knowledge of the geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural context of Korean-speaking regionsProficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based research toolsLanguage RequirementKorean (native or near-native proficiency)Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate and/or transcribe intermediate to advanced-level materials (technical manuals, foreign periodicals, audio files) into accurate, grammatically correct American EnglishProvide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for a variety of mission-related situationsAnalyze and report on translated material to support operational objectivesConduct quality control reviews of work performed by junior linguistsMaintain and update databases of translated materialsReview intercepted data to determine operational relevancePreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a relevant fieldPrevious military experienceFamiliarity with one or more Korean regional dialectsStrong skills in both consecutive and simultaneous interpretationThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
