- Supervise, schedule, and assign work within the Maintenance department.
- Develop and implement work procedures and schedules.
- Oversee workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Issue instructions and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- Monitor and inspect work for accuracy and quality.
- Continuously improve processes and implement effective changes.
- Foster teamwork and promptly resolve employee issues or grievances.
- Coach and develop employees, conducting annual performance reviews and providing regular feedback.
- Lead weekly safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production, inventory, and quality functions.
- Manage policy deployment for Lean Manufacturing, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and employee relations.
- Plan and coordinate departmental activities to meet sales, inventory, and delivery targets.
- Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure routine checks are performed.
- Manage inventory for equipment, parts, and supplies, including ordering and verifying receipt.
- Provide technical and mechanical maintenance support and reporting.
- Maintain technical knowledge through continuous learning and development.
- Ensure a safe, clean working environment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage departmental budget, including planning and monitoring expenditures.
- Lead problem-solving and drive improvement projects, including capital investments.
- Monitor and ensure work quality aligns with the Quality Plan.
- Plan workforce needs and support staffing based on budget and operational requirements.
- Maintain reliable attendance and ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years of management experience in manufacturing.
