
Project Manager - Rental Equipment

- Oversee procurement processes, preparing purchase requisitions in ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, Open-Door Technology) and collaborating with the purchasing group to ensure suppliers deliver materials and equipment within the delivery due date.
- Liaison with product teams to coordinate on design requirements and feedback.
- Monitor fabrication progress, coordinating schedules, buyout shipments, FAT testing, and address change order requests.
- Support programming activities and schedules to ensure Rental Units are operating properly.
- Help manage service priority schedule and timelines.
- Inspect, or provide for inspection of buyouts and Rental equipment.
- Process service ticket details for parts ordering and maintenance tasks.
- Prepare and provide documentation specific to projects and maintenance tasks.
- Two or more years of relevant experience within WesTech, including internships or full-time work.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other applications.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn collaboration tools (e.g., Open Door Technology), ERP systems (e.g., Business Central), SharePoint, and Power BI for project data management and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, with clear verbal and logical written abilities, and the capacity to listen and integrate instructions.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and proactive in managing tasks and priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in project management or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Five or more years of relevant experience within WesTech.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, Open-Door Technology), SharePoint for file management, or Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
- Ability to work at a workstation with a computer/phone system for extended periods.
- Regular movement around the facility, including yard and shop areas, with occasional lifting of 50-70 lbs.
- At supplier sites, ability to inspect equipment, which may involve bending, stooping, walking on ladders, walkways, or catwalks, and working at heights in a safety harness.
- Exposure to environmental conditions (cold, heat, wet, or dark) and compliance with all safety regulations, including the potential need to be clean-shaven for respiratory equipment.
- In owned yards and shops, and fabrication shops, ability to work safely around mechanical parts.
