WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Intern - Data Analytics in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This internship is full-time during the Summer of 2026 with the potential to work part-time during the academic year. The hourly rate for this internship is $22.00 with paid company holidays. As an intern you will be involved in day-to-day support, business requirement gathering, data preparation, data analysis, data visualization and other activities including attending and participating in various meetings as part of the team.Job Responsibilities
  • Work with internal company clients to understand their analytics and reporting requirements, develop effective solutions that meet their needs
  • Support dashboard and visualization development in Microsoft PowerBI
  • Assist with data preparation
  • Document work procedures and business processes
  • Contribute to the development of analytics team skills, knowledge and capabilities
  • Other projects as assigned
As an Analytics intern you will gain experience with:
  • Programming Languages (Python, SQL, DAX)
  • Building and optimizing data models
  • Dashboard and report design (PowerBI)
  • Day-to-day interactions with various departments
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
  • Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or higher preferably in Information Technology, Data Analytics, or closely related degree with a graduation date after June 2026
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
