Location: Hanover, MD
Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCIPosition Overview:Join a collaborative and mission-driven team where your contributions directly support the Army’s readiness and modernization goals.The Senior Security Specialist leads the planning, implementation, and monitoring of security operations, ensuring compliance with DoD and IC physical and personnel security standards across classified programs.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee physical security programs including access control, visitor management, and facility protection.
  • Manage personnel security functions including clearance processing and reporting.
  • Conduct security audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Develop and enforce security SOPs and contingency plans.
  • Coordinate security incident responses and investigations.
  • Provide security training and mentoring to junior staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Security, Criminal Justice, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in DoD or IC security programs.
  • Expert knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs, and DoD physical security policies.
  • Demonstrated experience leading security teams or programs.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
