Develop People: Train, mentor, and build the skills of Inspectors and Stackers, supporting their growth and confidence on the job.
Support Team Well-Being: Provide lunch and break relief to ensure balanced workloads and employee well-being.
Coach for Success: Monitor, guide, and provide constructive feedback to Inspectors and Stackers, partnering with Supervision when needed to drive performance.
Conduct Quality Reviews: Perform final inspections to confirm product conformance, addressing non-conforming materials quickly and effectively.
Protect the Customer: Ensure defective or substandard materials never reach the customer, safeguarding brand reputation and trust.
Minimize Waste: Identify, sort, and address defective bundles to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
Communicate Issues: Escalate defects promptly to Operators and TTLs to ensure timely corrections and continuous improvement.
Ensure Product Accuracy: Confirm Work Orders and End Tags align with the product being produced, preventing errors and delays.
Maintain Line Readiness: Keep the production line organized by removing unused totes and materials, supporting workflow efficiency.
Provide Hands-On Support: Assist with packaging and related production tasks when needed to meet shift goals.
Safeguard Data Integrity: Monitor and maintain accurate records of finished goods and scrap throughout the shift, making corrections as necessary.
Maintain 5S Standards: Keep work areas clean, orderly, and free of trash, debris, or safety hazards to support a safe and efficient environment.
Perform Rework with Care: Reprocess materials as needed, ensuring rework meets all safety and quality requirements.
Adapt and Contribute: Support additional responsibilities and assignments as directed by the shift supervisor, with a focus on safety, people, and quality.
Additional Responsibilities:
Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.
Adhere and reinforces all Personal Protective Equipment standards as defined.
QualificationsEducation/Experience:
Less than high school education; or up to two years month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in assembly or manufacturing is desirable; however, on the job training is typical for this position.
Previous quality inspection experience in a continuous production environment, a plus.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to read, interpret and complete production schedules and inspection forms.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand (extended periods of time); use hands to handle, or feel, and reach/lift with hands and arms.The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; stoop, kneel, bend over, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to cold, hot wet and/or humid factory conditions; moving mechanical parts and vibration.
