Seeking an experienced Site Development Project Manager with strong estimating abilities to oversee construction projects across various sectors. Responsibilities include bidding, managing multiple projects, and cultivating client relationships to drive company growth in the New Jersey Construction market.Our client maintains a robust project pipeline, boasting a four-month backlog of work and an annual revenue of approximately $30 million. The company is dedicated to further growth and aims to expand its team by adding one (potentially two) Site Development Project Manager(s) with estimating capabilities.Responsibilities for the ideal Project Manager candidates include integral involvement in bidding on projects, managing ongoing projects, and nurturing client relationships. The client values individuals with a blend of field experience and proficiency in project management and estimating, requiring a minimum of five years in the industry. Experience in Site Development and/or Paving is preferred . Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate multitasking abilities and a proactive approach to developing and maintaining client relationships.Project Managers balance their time between administrative duties in the office and project site visits.   • Minimum of five years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on site development projects.
  • Proficiency in project management techniques and estimating methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment used in site development.
  • Ability to bid on projects accurately and competitively, demonstrating sound estimating skills.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of fostering client relationships and expanding customer base.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and codes governing site development projects.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed within the designated region.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to addressing project challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
