Site Address: 5020 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati OH 45232Work Hours (shift, start, and end time): 8:30 AM to 5.00PMWhat shift will they train on : dayRequired Skills: Knowledge of Analytical Chemistry , HPLC, GC/MS, UV-Vis, FTIR, ICP , pH, Conductivity, wet chemistryPhysical Requirements: Able to do light manual work in a chemistry lab environmentDuration of Assignment: 6 monthsPay rate: $21/hourJob Duties: Performs chemical and physical analysis following approved methodology on organic and inorganic substances (such as pigment, inks, additives, solvents, raw materials) to assure both product suitability and applicability. Accurately and safely performs and documents all experiments and results with supervision. Performs procedures and documentation required by the Quality Management System.RESPONSIBILITIES/essential job functions.
Operation of analytical instruments such as ICP, GC, HPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR, KF titrator.
ISO calibration of equipment. Compliance with site regulations, including adherence to safety guidelines, chemical hygiene and ISO guidelines. Ordering lab supplies. Willing to perform repetitive analysis (QC).COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

Basic math, chemistry and science understanding
Familiar with chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques ( HPLC, GC, ICP, UV-Vis , FTIR), titrations, pH, conductivity measurements is desired.
Ability to work well within a team is required. Willing and able to multitask.
Proficiency in computer skills especially in MS Excel and Word is required .
Must be well organized, self motivated, flexible and have good communication skills (verbal and written)

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associate degree in chemical related field preferred. High School graduate or equivalent with some chemistry education. Others considered based on aptitude.
1 year experience in the Analytical Chemistry field
Strong safety and ethics awareness.
