- Diagnoses and manages dysphagia, speech-language, cognitive-communicative disorders, traumatic brain injuries and voice disorders
- Administers and interprets instrumental assessment of dysphagia, including Modified Barium Swallow Studies, natural-dye tests, and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing
- Conducts therapy with individual patients and evaluates their progress.
- Coordinates and confers with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other professionals
- Generates clinical reports and records including evaluations, treatment, progress, and outcomes
- Timely completion of required billing and related documentation
- Prepares and obtains therapy materials and supplies consistent with plan of care
- Supervised speech/language pathology student interns and participates in program development
- Performs related duties as required
- Two years of verifiable full-time experience in Geriatric Rehabilitation
- Experience with data-driven performance improvement projects and program development, implementation and/or enhancement
- Leadership experience (at least one year)
- Knowledge of regulations related to Acute Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, and Long Term Care
