The Infection Prevention Coordinator is a professional nurse with advanced knowledge, skill, and competence in Infection Control. Serves as a resource to all hospital departments, medical staff and community as it relates to preventing disease transmission in all ages (neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric). Qualifications:REQUIRED:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (AD).
Bachelor's degree in nursing or allied health field.
Certified in the practice of infection control or epidemiology.
Five (5) years experience in infection control practice or epidemiology.
