Essential Duties:
Provide caseload coverage for OT services.
Model appropriate behavior conducive to a positive working and therapeutic environment.
Evaluate, document, and implement treatment plans for clients referred by physicians.
Record evaluations, daily progress notes, discharge reports, and service billings in a timely manner and in accordance with procedure to provide complete documentation for client charts
as needed. * Cover treatment sessions by implementing the established plan of care and documenting treatment notes accordingly.
Proactively initiate and follow-through with tasks utilizing appropriate problem-solving techniques to facilitate communication flow and prompt resolutions.
Maintain caseload levels at a level deemed reasonable by the OT supervisor.
Provide supervision of COTA services, when assigned for a consistent and extended period, in compliance with state practice regulations and organizational policies.
Observe all rules of confidentiality as they pertain to program participants internally, and in working with outside individuals and/or agencies.
Other duties as assigned by the OT Supervisor.
Requirements:
A degree in Occupational Therapy and licensure in the state of Michigan
CPR, First Aid, AED certification (provided by Origami)
