- Long-term strategic leadership management and day-to-day tactical management of IG’s marketing, creative and audience recruiting teams
- Oversee and set goals for internal teams and then lead to goals while coaching and growing team members skillsets
- Establish scalable KPIs, benchmarks and best practices for marketing and social campaigns
- Develop reports and dashboards that allow for strong oversight of marketing and recruiting KPIs and ensure that campaigns achieve or exceed performance criteria
- Establish consistent pre, during and post event processes for audience and sales marketing and audience recruitment
- Work in partnership with the wider team to develop and implement marketing strategies that position key messages and product strategy
- Create sales marketing campaigns focused on new client growth and increased client retention. This includes understanding the client demographics/personas to effectively message to drive revenue across all products
- Establish and manage KPIs around sales marketing effectiveness
- Develop strategic audience development plans to grow the database for existing events and new event launches
- Integration of new technology to improve the business including: data management, KPI and data reporting and marketing and social tools and marketing stack
- Regularly review marketing plan, response rates/KPIs, attendee demographics, and
- industry best practices to ensure marketing efforts are successful and use data to inform decision making and strategy
- Manage marketing budgets to allow for strategic budget planning while delivering “best practice” financial dependability
- Oversight and responsibility for achieving attendee event goals – both in number of attendees and quality of attendees through establishing KPIs, best practices and data management for audience database
- Establish rigor and discipline and process around audience account management
- Experience leading marketing and audience recruitment teams
- History of setting KPIs, best practices and processes that support business scale and growth
- Strong project management skills, being able to manage projects on an extensive scale
- People management experience – managing direct reports, leading teams, managing performance and conducting and training
- Experience in process optimization – scaling operations through automation, optimized workflows and system integrations.
- Experience in database management and growth including setting best practices, being a key player in technology and database hygiene processes and tools decisions to support new market launches and attendee growth
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (in English)
- Deep experience with technology stacks – including Hubspot & Salesforce– and identifying and implementing new technology to support business growth
- Able to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
- Event experience preferred – with a focus on conference or hosted buyer experience
