Be on time and ready to work at the start of shift
Unloading of dry goods delivery
Warehouse stocking of perishable goods
Load and unload storage/transfer trailers
“5S” implementation with focus on visual order, organization, cleanliness and standardization
Inventory counting and reconciliation
Inbound/Outbound Trailer Inspection
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, labels, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to Supervisor, Peers, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add/subtract and to multiply/divide.Specific positions require forklift certification or ability to become certified; and/or require a valid driver's license.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use teamwork skills. The employee will occasionally use interpersonal and customer service skills.This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site positionCualificacionesQualified candidates for the Distribution Center Associate position should possess the following:EXPERIENCE
Previous experience with a reach stand up lift
Previous experience with a rider pallet jack
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. The employee must be able to perform these functions in Hot/Cold environment, both indoors and outdoors.
