
Foundry Manufacturing Engineer

- Utilize 2D & 3D software like SolidWorks to design production tooling.
- Drive productivity enhancements on existing production lines.
- Conduct root cause analysis using statistical methods to recommend design, tolerance, and process changes.
- Design and implement production processes for new and existing products.
- Lead FMEA assessments for new and existing products.
- Review product designs for manufacturability and process optimization.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to drive productivity improvements.
- Facilitate design of experiments, lean manufacturing, and design reviews.
- Create work instructions, spare parts inventories, and more.
- Implement automation, robotics, and controls integration for manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (specifically Solid Works) and Microsoft Office.
- Prior experience in tooling, project management, and automation.
- Experience as a manufacturing engineer in a heavy manufacturing setting.
- Industry experience, preferably in zinc casting, stamping, or finishing.
- Desired background in foundry operations.
