- Provides clerical and/or administrative support to clinical staff and managers for clinical programs
- Adheres to an assigned schedule and quality metrics
- Participate in and contribute to staff meetings and other staff development opportunities and interdepartmental work groups
- Identify areas of improvement where systems modifications could result in operational advancements and efficiencies
- Identifies problems and develops solutions to non-standard requests and problems
- Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
- Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues
- May serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for other Pharmacy Care Coordinators on the Clinical Pharmacy Team
- Acts as a resource for others with less experience
- Other duties as assigned

- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of experience in administrative support
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service setting
- 6+ months of experience in a medical setting
- 6+ months of experience in medical terminology knowledge base
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- PBM experience
- Advanced knowledge of NCPDP and other types of prescription drug claims
- Working knowledge of Medicare Part B and D coverage guidelines and payment methodologies / previous retail pharmacy experience
- Previous Call Center experience
- Excellent organizational skills, customer service skills, and verbal and written communication skills to include but not limited to patients, physicians, clinical staff, contracted providers, and managers
- High degree of professionalism, to always include both personal conduct and appearance
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as a member of a team, with some supervision and direction from the manager
- Must always maintain strict confidentiality to include but not limited to patients and coworkers
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Comfortable working in a rapidly changing and highly matrixed environment
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects
