We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to lead day-to-day operations across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This role blends practical maintenance work with crew supervision, scheduling, and coordination of ongoing repair and improvement projects. You'll be our go-to leader on-site, ensuring tasks are done safely, efficiently, and up to standard—from routine service calls to major structural upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform hands-on maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks across multiple properties.
- Help supervise in-house maintenance teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality work.
- Organize daily work plans, assign tasks, and monitor job site performance and safety.
- Respond to service requests, diagnose issues, and coordinate timely solutions.
- Schedule and manage recurring preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours.
- Communicate with property management and internal teams to prioritize and plan work efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify issues, assess work quality, and recommend improvements.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in property maintenance or construction.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systems.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills—able to coordinate multiple projects and crews simultaneously.
- Skilled at troubleshooting and problem-solving in the field.
- Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, blueprints, and repair estimates.
- Clear communicator who takes initiative and gets the job done.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (job sites vary by day).
