  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in an applied research setting (e.g., product or academic) or similar.
  • Experience with research methods (e.g., usability, studies, contextual inquires, 1:1 interviews, unmoderated research studies).
  • Experience in core UX principles and methodologies, including user-centered design, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Experience in planning and executing quantitative UX studies, utilizing tools and metrics such as A/B testing, key performance indicators (KPIs), and user analytics to inform design decisions.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience conducting UX research on products and working with executive leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
  • 3 years of experience managing projects and working in a changing organization.
  • Experience conducting research with highly technical users (e.g., software engineers, data scientists, or researchers).
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle, tools, or enterprise data infrastructure.
  • Experience leading multi-team research programs and influencing leadership.

As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $151,000-$222,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
