Job duties include basic clinical tasks, working with patients and assisting the other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient and high-quality care. The Medical Assistant performs such duties as:
Provide clinic Services Testing (Urine Drug Testing, Breath Alcohol, Color Vision Tests, Respirator Fit Testing, EKG, urine dip, blood pressure measurement and all daily, weekly, monthly calibration checks on equipment (as needed).
Scheduling appointments in appropriate time slots.
