- Develop detailed manufacturing process plans for new products
- Improve manufacturing process plans for existing products
- Verify and update existing manufacturing process plans for subsequent lots
- Design work-holding fixtures for machining, welding, and assembly
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues with demonstrated urgency
- Maintain high product quality and manufacturing yield
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years related manufacturing experience, Aerospace strongly preferred
- 3D Cad experience is a must - Solidworks strongly preferred
- Experience with or working as a supplier for large aerospace manufacturers
- Experience with creating comprehensive process routers and manufacturing drawings
- Familiar with CNC machining equipment (i.e. lathes, mills, multi-axis equipment, etc.)
- Familiar with ancillary processing of metals (i.e. heat treat, nitride, anodize, plating, etc.)
- Ability to quickly and accurately interpret blueprints and associated technical specifications
- Ability and willingness to work under pressure, manage competing demands and tight deadlines
- Strong operational instructions writing and editing skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team, effectively
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Lean manufacturing skills and experience are a plus
- Customer experience with Honeywell, Woodward, Raytheon, & Northrop Grumman is preferred
