
Maintenance Technician - General I

- Dismantles, repairs, assembles, installs, and sets up technical equipment and machines used in a production site.
- Plans and executes assigned maintenance projects independently.
- Analyzes technical problems on site and completes mechanical and/or electrical repairs and work orders.
- Executes ramp-up, setup, and start procedures to prepare machines and equipment for operations.
- Contributes to installation projects on site and supports accountable Industrial Engineers.
- Supports maintenance of technical documentation for processes and equipment.
- May provide technical advice to junior staff.
- May maintain various types of equipment.
- Operates a defined number of specialized machines and equipment.
- May include prescribed CNC programming (e.g., setting parameters) to set up machines for production.
- Requires theoretical knowledge and procedural understanding to operate in qualified assembly processes.
- Uses a variety of tools and machines during the assembly process.
- Assembly work is generally repetitive and routine.
- Completion of a 2-year vocational training program.
- Up to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, work routines, and skills in the related field, gained through structured vocational training.
