- Assist with systems engineering to ensure end-to-end integration and operation of cyber-sensing and operations capabilities.
- Lead the design, testing, and implementation of secure operating systems, networks, and database products.
- Advise on cyber hardening strategies for military weapon systems, including both legacy and new systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits, offering recommendations for application design and security enhancements.
- Oversee the development of new systems, applications, and solutions for enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.
- Participate in the creation and enforcement of enterprise security documents (policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures).
- Analyze logs and reports, interpret their implications, and participate in investigations into problematic activity.
- Provide expert support, research, and analysis of exceptionally complex problems related to cyber security.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Cyber Security, or related discipline.
- At least 12 years of technical or cyber-related experience, with specific emphasis on cyber offense and defense capabilities.
- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- CISSP certification is mandatory, with CEH certification highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in full-spectrum cybersecurity operations and deep knowledge of secure operating systems and data security.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating complex security concepts across all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time for CONUS and OCONUS engagements.
- Over six years of DoD experience, including developing, editing, evaluating, and managing Cyber related technical documentation and doctrine.
- Advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts in cyber security, contributing to new principles and methodologies.
- Experience with Risk Management Framework, Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG), and mastery in the application of cybersecurity within the SAP community.
- Must meet the requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 3 or Information Assurance Manager Level 3.
- Must possess a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility and be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph as required.
