
QA Tech - Manufacturing 12 hour nights

- Use a micrometer, pie tapes and ovality gauges to accurately check finished PVC product while recording and reporting quality data
- Efficiently perform the inspection and quality process on extruded PVC pipe, assuring ongoing compliance with quality and industry requirements
- Service and inspect tools to ensure accurate readings
- Consistently meet department safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies and housekeeping.
- Accurately perform responsibilities with limited supervision; other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or certificate of completion is preferred; Must be 18 years old.
- Must have previous experience in a manufacturing environment and prior experience with quality control/quality assurance processes, including testing and reporting
- Previous work experience with the extrusion process is an asset
- Stable work history exhibiting a dedication to a long-term career vs. job hopping
- Knowledge and experience with micrometers, pi-tapes, calipers and ovality gauges are a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Successful completion of drug screen, physical, and criminal background check

- Pay: $22.92/hr + 5% shift differential= $24.06
- Basic safety equipment (i.e., safety glasses, ear plugs) will be provided
- Requires good mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, bending, and lifting up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
