We handle job sourcing, scheduling, customer support, and invoicing, so you can focus on your craft.We’re looking for a California-licensed C-36 Plumber to serve as our Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) — a senior-level role where your license will qualify Osta to perform plumbing work while you continue to do what you do best: deliver quality, code-compliant plumbing services.What You’ll Do
  • Serve as RMO for Osta’s C-36 plumbing operations, maintaining active compliance with CSLB and California building/plumbing codes.
  • Oversee quality control for plumbing jobs, ensuring all work is permit-ready and passes inspection the first time.
  • Install, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems, including:
  • Drain repairs and replacements
  • Water heater installs (tank & tankless)
  • Copper and PEX repiping
  • Fixture installations and replacements
  • Leak detection and emergency repairs
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to plumbing technicians.
  • Use Osta’s mobile app for real-time job tracking, documentation, and invoicing — no paperwork required.
  • Collaborate with our dispatch and support teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
RequirementsWhat You Bring
  • Active CA C-36 Plumbing Contractor License in good standing (Required for RMO role).
  • 4+ years of hands-on plumbing experience in residential and/or light commercial work.
  • Strong knowledge of California UPC, OSHA standards, and permit processes.
  • Ability to oversee compliance, safety, and workmanship standards.
  • Your own standard plumbing tools and reliable transportation (truck or van).
  • Comfort with mobile apps and technology for job management.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior techs.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
