Sign Manufacturing General Manager - ArizonaThe General Manager will oversee all aspects of our Arizona wholesale manufacturing facility, including production, operations, sales support, and team leadership. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep knowledge of sign manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and customer-focused solutions.   • Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of all operations within the facility.
  • Oversee production scheduling, quality control, and workflow efficiency.
  • Manage and mentor department leads in fabrication, logistics, sales support, and administration.
  • Develop and track KPIs for production output, quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Partner with ownership to set annual business goals and budgets.
  • Maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships to optimize materials procurement.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to scale operations with company growth.
General Manager Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in sign manufacturing industry.
  • Experience directly and indirectly overseeing teams of 30 or more employees.
  • Strong knowledge of wholesale/trade sign production methods (channel letters, cabinets, CNC routing, printing, painting, etc.).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing teams and bottom line revenue growth.
  • Excellent organizational, financial management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead with a hands-on approach and willingness to step into production when necessary.
  • Strong communication skills for internal team leadership and external vendor/customer interactions.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling software preferred.
