- Bachelors degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of data management principles, policies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in data management tools and software, such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and aligning data strategies to support business objectives.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards related to data management.
- Demonstrated ability to uphold ethical standards and maintain data confidentiality and security.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance in a timely manner is required.
- Masters degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in data management or data governance (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP)).
- Experience with cloud-based data management solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar for data analysis and automation.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and their applications in data management.
- Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques for data analysis and predictive modeling.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead data-related projects from inception to completion.
- Experience with data privacy laws, such as GDPR or CCPA, and their impact on data management practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
