Ex-PNC highly PREFERRED
5 years of experience with Enterprise Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful API design principles
4 years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures
Strong understanding of Kafka architecture, topics, partitions, and consumer groups
Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
Experience with event serialization formats (JSON, Avro)
Familiarity with Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, and KSQL
Knowledge of common Kafka patterns such as dead letter queues, error handling, and retry mechanisms
Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns
Proficiency in CI/CD tools and DevOps methodologies, particularly Jenkins and pipeline automation
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Background in banking, health, or retail industries
Bachelor's in a related technology field preferred, but experience will be considered
