- Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of service. Monitors service and staff performance in relation to those standards, policies and procedures. Develops standards of accountability and reporting. Defines operational duties for staff. Organizes, oversees and leads work efforts as appropriate to insure the best possible delivery of service and high customer/patient satisfaction. (EF)
- Collaborates with Managers/Directors to provide in-services and educational opportunities to increase knowledge and ability to provide the highest service available. Develops and implements orientation programs for new procedures and/or new personnel.
- Maintain effective interdepartmental, and agency relationships and communications to foster a service attitude and to cooperatively provide the highest quality service to the community.
- Participate on hospital or medical staff committees as assigned or required to identify service requirements and staffing needs; may need to plan and implement strategies to determine long range plans for delivery programs, facilities, equipment and human resources and the continuous assessment, improvement and maintenance of the quality of service provided.
- Provides leadership to have competent and satisfied employee group through timely performance appraisals, providing development and mentoring of subordinates. Hires develop through appropriate training, coaching and counseling. Seeks and retains personnel with the qualifications and competence to support the skill level required and the goals established for the department.
- Monitors staffing to ensure operation within established operating budget guidelines.
- Collaborates with Director of Valet Services in Operating and Capital Expense budget preparations. Continuously seeks ways to improve quality, increase utilization, and decrease costs of service.
- Maintains departmental compliance with all regulatory / accreditation requirements. Develops and implements policies and procedures that direct and support the provision of service within regulatory guidelines.
- Supervises various levels of personnel in the department. Enforces and abides by the company rules and standards as set forth in employee handbook.
- Demonstrates the components of the ICARE values statement.
- Follows all safety rules while on the job. Reports accidents promptly and corrects minor safety hazards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors Degree required
- Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively with clients, customers of the client and support staff.
