The Director of Business Development plays a pivotal role in driving growth through strategic marketing initiatives and proactive client engagement. This position is split between:
- Marketing Strategy & Oversight (20%)
- Outside Sales & Client Relationship Management (80%)
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities through networking, meetings, and industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations.
- Maintain and manage pipeline leads using Monday.com.
- Generate regular performance reports for leadership.
- Engage with attorneys, owners, and stakeholders to coordinate proposal and estimate deadlines.
- Anticipate project challenges and proactively develop solutions with the project team.
- Contribute to the master pipeline and forecast project delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with Preconstruction and internal teams to close deals and secure contracts.
- Curate and manage content for social media platforms, especially LinkedIn.
- Coordinate project photography and videography for marketing use.
- Work with graphic designers and marketing professionals to develop branded materials.
- Lead quarterly email and digital marketing campaigns targeting key client segments.
