- Develop an understanding of second line RRP oversight program to ensure all regulatory requirements and associated guidance are fully incorporated while monitoring industry practices to meet evolving regulatory expectations.
- Assist with the enhancement and maintenance of second line procedures, documentation, controls, and preparation of review and challenge templates.
- Serve as a member of RRP working groups and perform effective review and challenge of RRP processes, including assumptions, methodologies, and strategies.
- Collaborate with program teams and provide constructive feedback and recommendations intended to enhance the quality of regulatory submissions.
- Assist with the review and validation of RRP developed forecasting tools and models, inclusive of data governance and technology planning, business requirements, design, and production execution.
- Assist with responses to regulatory feedback, execution of corrective actions, and internal audit exams/reviews.
- Assist with change management and compliance documentation for regulatory rule proposals and final requirement notifications applicable to Treasury Risk Team (RRP, capital, liquidity, and market risks).
- Assist with second line of defense role within crisis planning operational testing and tabletop exercises, review of test design, execution, and documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with risk partners to design, maintain, and enforce Policy and Procedure supporting the governance of Treasury Risk team programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance.
- 5+ years of proven Financial Services experience in Finance, Treasury, Corporate Risk Management, or Audit roles.
- MBA, Master's degree, or relevant professional designation (e.g., CPA, CFA, FRM, CRCM).
- Fundamental understanding of resolution and recovery planning requirements, ideally experience with Dodd-Frank Act, DFA165(d).
- Basic understanding of Internal Liquidity Stress Testing, Comprehensive Capital and Analysis Review, Risk Weighted Assets, or Market Risk Value-at-Risk requirements.
- Experience with development, testing, or validation of financial stress or balance sheet forecasting models and tools.
- Experience with Policy and Procedure ownership, governance, enforcement, and exception management.
- Ability to multi-task effectively, be a self-starter, deliver to deadlines, handle stress with composure and professionalism, and move work forward with limited direction.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely while demonstrating confidence and competence in individual and group meeting situations.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and execute flawlessly.
- Experience evaluating cross-functional workstreams with ability to collaborate, build credibility and foster teamwork.
