- 5+ years of experience with Linux administration
- Experience with Linux, including installing, configuring, or maintaining servers, operating systems, and applications
- Experience in a consulting or client-facing environment
- Ability to assess, harden, and mitigate cyber vulnerabilities through various tools such as ACAS or Nessus vulnerability scanner, STIGs, and Security Requirement Guides (SRGs) for COTS operating systems, applications, and network infrastructure devices
- Ability to plan and conduct a project with minimal oversight
- Ability to lead or participate in tiger teams to resolve complex IT challenges
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND Certification
- Experience in Linux security, including with SELinux policies, firewalls, and SSH hardening
- Experience with scripting in PowerShell and BASH command line interfaces, or scripting languages such as Python or Perl
- Knowledge of High-Performance Computing architecture and optimization
- Knowledge of enterprise environments
- Ability to provide system administration to Linux environments, including Red Hat, Ubuntu, and Micro-Linux
- Ability to provide administration through various tools such as Red Hat Satellite, Active Directory, and PDQ
- Possession of strong problem-solving skills, including in complex Windows environments
- DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III Certification
