This role involves working closely with multi-functional teams to contribute to the design, engineering, and successful launch of structural brackets supporting power electronic modules used on Electric Vehicles.Your role and responsibilities:
- Ensure that all program targets (quality, cost, timing) are identified and communicated, status to target tracked and communicated per program requirements.
- Manage the programs development status with the extended team, gather information from supporting teams, plan & report program status.
- Ensure project milestones and gate review compliance according to Product & Process Development
- Verify and manage planning timelines for project development
- Responsible for developing and executing test plans and procedures.
- Manage and communicate key sourcing milestone dates.
- Lead management team meetings for program & key issue approval
- Plan Coordinate/assist during all the development phases KPI reporting (program readiness)
- Ensure cost / investment recovery actions are identified/implemented as necessary
- Determine and coordinate the sharing of resources among project constituents to benefit the overall success of the program, while building credibility, establishing rapport, and maintaining communication at all levels.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- 3-5 proven expertise in Program Management in Automotive (OEM, Tier 1 preferably).
- Proficient in Project Management software (MS Project) and methodologies.
- Experience in Product Engineering (component/system design or integration).
- Understanding of vehicle engineering basics (package, assembly process)
- PMP Certification is a plus.
- Experience in metal stamping (design and/or manufacturing) (Preferred Not Mandatory)
- Knowledge of Power Electronics. (Preferred Not Mandatory)
