Adecco has partnered with a precision manufacturing company in Minneapolis, MN to hire a CNC Milling Machine Setup Operator. This is a direct hire role offering a stable four-day workweek, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.Position Summary:As a CNC Milling Machine Setup Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision parts. Strong milling experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of G and M code, experience with tight tolerances, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC milling machines to meet production specsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work ordersInput or adjust G and M code programs as necessaryUse precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to inspect partsPerform tool changes and make offsets as neededMonitor part quality and machine performance throughout the runMaintain accurate production and inspection recordsFollow all safety and quality standardsPerform minor machine maintenance and cleaningRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years of CNC milling machine setup and operation experienceStrong blueprint reading and mechanical skillsFamiliarity with G and M code programmingProficiency with measurement tools and quality inspectionAbility to work independently and meet production goalsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbsStand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shiftComfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and dustWork Authorization & Compliance:Must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesCompany is subject to U.S. government contract regulations; compliance with IRCA and E-Verify requiredEqual Opportunity Employer:Adecco is proud to partner with an employer that is committed to equal opportunity.
