Entech has an exciting opportunity for a contract to direct position in the Chesterfield, MI area.This is a machine operator position that is working in an expanding and stable work environment. Clean and well lit, excellent training and ability to learn new skills.Machine description:Vertical indexing injection molding machine. Manually loaded and unloaded. Two cavities per mold, two molds 180 degrees apart on indexing table. Plastic used is PPS resin. Mold is heated to high temperature. Metal and plastic components are manually loaded onto mold before cycling, and manually removed after cycling.Machine Technician key tasks:Add plastic resin pellets to dryer as neededPrepare injection molding machine for daily operationVerify machine settings as neededPurge plastic resin from cylinder and hot runner systemRun initial trial shots to confirm machine is ready for mass productionClean our debris from molds by using air blowVisually inspect components to confirm they are prepared properly for over-moldingManually load components into mold cavities for over-moldingVisually confirm components are loaded properly and mold details are in correct positionInitiate start of cycle by pushing buttonObserve molding process to make sure parts are properly ejected after completion of cycleRemove and visually inspect completed partsPack completed parts in totes after cool down periodCandidates should have experience with injection mold or strong machine operator experience and the ability work independently.Candidates are required to pass a background check and complete a 5 panel drug test.
