As a leading national distributor of safety and occupational health products, including eye and face protection products, protective clothing and respiratory protection products and more, Airgas has the safety products and services you need, when and where you need them.How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Warehouse Associates play a critical role in our supply chain by maintaining organized inventory, fulfilling orders efficiently, and supporting the overall flow of goods. They are also responsible for moving material within a warehouse, while adhering to the facility work rules and while meeting or exceeding the regular productivity, quality and safety standards. This position reports to a warehouse lead, supervisor, or manager. Other duties include:Meets company productivity and quality standards.Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders.Stacks and arranges products.Wraps/packs orders for shipping.Maintains clean work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations.Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.Other duties may be assigned.Loading, unloading, palletizing, receiving, locating, picking and packing safety products (such as safety goggles, gloves, boots, hydrating beverages and more).Lifting (up to 50 pounds), placing, carrying, pushing, and rolling cages, carts, or ladders, using motorized conveyors, or operating hand trucks, pallet jacks (manual or powered).Operates forklifts, order pickers, banding tools, packaging equipment or other material handling equipment.Other warehouse-related tasks as assigned.Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 am- 6:00 pm
Starting Pay: $18.50/hr - Please note that the hourly base pay information is a general guideline only. Airgas considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.​​Are you a MATCH?HS diploma or GED required.1+ year warehousing or similar experienceAbility to lift 50 lbs.Ability to push and or pull up to 75 lbs.Ability to stand/walk for 8 to 10 hoursAbility to read and comprehend customers’ orders, bills of lading, etc.Basic math skillsKnowledge or ability to learn computer software systemsStand-up Forklift, Sit-down Forklift, Cherry Picker, and Pallet Jack experience preferredMust be able to work in a fast paced environment and work overtime as needed.
