This position requires leading the continuous design, development, and upkeep of commercial property and casualty insurance forms libraries and underwriting guidelines. It also involves training Coverholders on ISO and/or Lloyds based products, managing updates to underwriting guidelines and documentation, and collaborating with various teams.Responsibilities:Lead the ongoing design, development, and maintenance of the commercial property and casualty, personal, manuscript, ISO, and Lloyds based forms librariesLead the ongoing design, development and maintenance of the commercial property and casualty, personal, manuscript, ISO, and Lloyds based underwriting guidelinesDevelop, maintain and train Coverholders on ISO and/or Lloyds based products including ratingLead ongoing development and monitoring of the documentation and implementation of efficient procedures including training, internal/external communication, and ongoing revisions for existing usage guidelines, guides, and new productsManage ongoing iBridge updates of Underwriting Guidelines, appetite, forms, rating, Coverholder Bulletins, Coverholder Factsheet, and Coverholder ScorecardTrain new Coverholders on all aspects of iBridgeTrain, monitor, and supervise Applications Administrator and Coverholders on Docucorp forms libraries, form language, and completion of dynamic fields dataProvide input to Data Governance Analyst on Bordereaux ValidationsConduct testing and training of new Coverholders with bordereaux formatsCollaborate and communicate regularly with other teams such as Managed Underwriting, Compliance, Technical, Accounting, London Operations, and ClaimsAssist in the ongoing revisions of Compliance Review process including report templates, questionnaires, and acceptable responses for Coverholders and external vendorsConduct at least three Coverholder Compliance reviews annuallyParticipate in at least three Coverholder Underwriting reviews annuallyRecognized as a thought leader around insurance issues in the US property and casualty sector20% travel as necessary within US and LondonJob Requirements:10+ years of Property and Casualty underwriting experience preferably with an Insurance Carrier or Wholesale Insurance BrokerISO and Manuscript Insurance Coverage and Form competency necessaryAbility to research and resolve technical insurance issuesUnderstanding business plan(s) for supported business(es)Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, One Note, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams)Strong influencing skills to ensure alignment with Underwriting, Operations, Finance, Technical, and ComplianceStrong leadership skills with the ability to build rapport, teamwork, and resolve conflictsPresentation and training experienceBachelor's or University Degree in Business Management, Science, Finance or equivalent requiredInsurance Designation a plusThis role is being offered in our Princeton, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA; and NYC, NY offices. For the right candidate, we are also open to considering this role fully remote.The salary range posted below applies to the Company's NYC location.The base salary range anticipated for this position is $110,500 - $162,000 plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in NYC. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
