The test technician is responsible for performing electrical and mechanical testing on engineering prototypes and production samples to qualify aerospace interconnect products. Visually inspects components and assemblies for conformance to product standards. Reviews and understands electrical and mechanical test procedures. Operates and maintains test equipment. Collects and analyzes test data. Executes test programs on schedule through collaboration with engineers and third-party test labs. Incorporates changes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and safety of test procedures. High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a test lab environment. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of Camarillo will be considered for this position. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Knowledge of industry test standards (i.e., EIA, MIL-STD) Experience with general electrical test equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, etc. Experience in an Aerospace testing and quality environment.
