Responsibilities: • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the law firm's mission, goals and objectives. Collaborate with owner, executive leadership, and attorneys to identify target markets and practice areas for focused marketing efforts. Create a clear coordinated strategic plan with a budget for the calendar year for each marketing channel to accomplish firm goals • Budget Management: Create and manage the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring the cost-effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives and accomplishment of the targeted ROI per channel • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and provide regular reports to the owner and executive leadership on the status of achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) • Vendor Management: Manage all vendors involved in supporting the firm in any of the areas herein • Branding and Positioning: Manage, grow and safeguard the law firm's brand identity. Ensure consistent messaging and visual representation across all marketing channels, pursuits, materials and communications • Google My Business and Professional Directories: Monitor, expand and optimize the firm’s market presence on GMB and all professional profiles • Digital Marketing: Oversee the firm's digital marketing efforts, including website management, search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, email campaigns, targeted marketing partner content, and overall online presence. Monitor and report analytics to measure performance, determine ROI and identify areas for improvement • Website maintenance and expansion: Maintain website, including but not limited to existing content revision, SEO content addition, backlink health and expansion, firm growth accommodation on existing pages, etc. Expand the website as needed for continued, or new firm initiatives and marketing efforts, including but not limited to additional landing pages, additional brand initiatives, etc. • Content Creation: Oversee the firm's market-responsive and marketing-initiative content creation across all platforms in multiple formats, including but not limited to digital marketing efforts, website management, search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, email campaigns, PPC, and online presence • Authority content: Collaborate with the owner, executive leadership and attorneys to create compelling and informative content, such as articles, blog posts, whitepapers, etc., to establish the firm's authority, expertise and thought leadership • Events, Community Engagement and Sponsorships: Plan, execute and coordinate participation in legal industry events, conferences, community events, and sponsorships to increase the firm's visibility, strengthen professional relationships and increase community engagement • Client Development: Develop and implement client-focused marketing strategies to nurture relationships, enhance client retention, and foster client referrals • Market Research: Conduct SWOT analyses and additional research on industry trends, competitor activities and position, firm position in our core area market and firm vulnerability to identify growth opportunities and to maintain healthy proactive strategic growth • Print Advertising: Oversee the firm’s print marketing efforts, including advertisements, brochures, resources, etc. • Media: Coordinate the owner’s and firm members’ media appearance efforts (radio, TV, podcasts, digital/print media, etc.). Ensure the same are published across all applicable firm platforms (website, online channels, newsletters, etc.) • Online Presence: Develop and execute campaigns regarding online presence; maintain an active presence across all platforms; tabulate and provide reporting to Owner and executive leadership of engagements and new followers • Client Referral Program: Create and maintain professional and non-professional client referral programs, including acknowledgments, events for referral partners (including former clients), etc. Track and provide monthly reports to the Owner and executive leadership regarding the same • State Bar of Texas Compliance (SBOT): Comply with SBOT requirements for advertising review. • Review content compliance and requirements at least bi-annually. Proactively submit materials timely for SBOT approval. Respond to SBOT requests for information/revisions timely • Technology Usage and Management: Assist in fully utilizing developing, expanding and maintaining the firm's CRM software, Call Rail, review capture software, and other technology utilized in the firm’s marketing efforts • Results Tracking: Utilize appropriate tracking tools to ensure each marketing channel is measured independently. Create reports, dashboards, etc. enabling clear, measured metrics reporting of the ROI and success of all marketing efforts. Interpret and report results to the firm owner and executive leadership in the scheduled cadence • Policies, Systems, and Procedures (PSPs): Create PSPs for the Marketing Division and marketing team members regarding all efforts herein in order to create a well-oiled Automatic Marketing Machine • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the Marketing Division and marketing team, providing inspiration, guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing team and a collaborative work environment Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal marketing or professional services marketing, with a proven track record of success • In-depth knowledge of the legal industry (ideally including the family law sector), professional and legal ethics, and compliance considerations • Proficiency in all marketing strategies and channels identified herein • Proficiency with using technology tools in marketing management and execution, including CRMs (e.g. Lawmatics, HubSpot, etc.) • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, Conditional formatting, etc.), PowerPoint, Word, etc. • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with firm leadership, attorneys, marketing team members, vendors and external partners • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership and management style • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to make informed marketing decisions • Creativity and innovative thinking to develop unique marketing approaches within the context of the legal profession • Familiarity with legal profiles, directories, rankings, and awards processes is advantageous • Passionate about staying current with industry trends and best practices in legal marketing • Experience with Direct Response Marketing • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate, inspire and build relationships across different internal departments and with external partners and vendors About Company: A boutique family law firm specializing in divorce using collaborative, non-adversarial techniques and creative solutions.
