- Managing approximately 30 plus regional health system accounts within a geographical region with responsibilities ranging from prospecting to selling and retaining.
- Successfully cultivate customer relationships while positioning value / benefits with “C level” decision makers
- Leveraging experience in software and consulting sales with a healthcare and software background and have demonstrated effective use of selling skills while consistently achieving and exceeding quota over a sustained period of time
- Plans and manages time and resources for effective coverage of territory, communications, and other responsibilities while observing all budget guidelines
- Complete understanding of all clients’ ongoing short and long term initiatives, success metrics, issues and challenges.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10 years of relevant industry experience OR High school diploma AND 14 years of relevant industry experience
- Minimum 5+ combined years healthcare sales and service experience
- Ability to travel 50%
- Working knowledge with all Microsoft Office tools and CRM forecasting tools
- 5 – 7 years of successful hi-tech direct sales experience in the healthcare industry with a strong track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Knowledge and demonstrable experience selling and delivering complex high dollar ($750K+) technology solutions across multiple departments in large hospital systems.
- Proven ability to position value / benefits with “C level” decision makers; ability to initiate and develop successful selling strategies; ability to fully negotiate contracts and close profitable business within the region that protect all expected 3M HIS business unit margins.
- Previously held direct sales roles with a well-regarded information solutions, technology services or software business within the healthcare information technology sector.
- Demonstrable sales success in meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Demonstrate initiative, innovation, continual learning, and personal development.
- Client-centric in style; respected among their clients who is known and respected throughout the client’s hospital and across the client base.
- Energetic self-starter who possesses an intense sense of urgency.
- Action oriented and results driven.
- A person with a strong “hands on” and disciplined work ethic. Sets a quick pace and constantly raises the bar for themselves towards higher levels of achievement.
- Weekly interaction with clients specifically Executives
- Provide constant diagnostic service to clients including on site workflow, system and operational analysis
- Educate clients specifically Executives on market trends, clinical and economical regulations and reform
- Match your deep knowledge of clients to a short and long term solution roadmap with expected value and results creating a trusted high performance partner/advisor relationship
