Works with Promotions, Marketing, Entertainment, Sales and Operations Departments to lead the acquisition, implementation and achievement of sponsorship dollars and value from our business partners including existing sponsors and new sponsors. Ensure that all sponsorships are in line with Caesars sponsorship standards and build Harrah's brand image. The Advertising/PR SPECIALIST will maintain relationships with partners and communicate all plans with the property leadership and operational departments. Develop and execute a comprehensive plan on sponsorships through identification of different sponsorship models and the value proposition. Provide comprehensive financial and strategic analysis. Participate in marketing event planning and event execution.MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS: 21 years of ageDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Works with Marketing Departments, all internal departments, vendors, agencies and employees for the development, implementation and analysis of incoming partnerships and sponsorships to directly reduce costs, drive revenue and add value to the property programming.Responsible for implementation of property advertising material including, but not limited to, creative design, production, operation of wide format printers, and placement execution.Leads the end-to-end project management of Harrah's-run community events, from planning and coordination through execution, which may include collaboration with the City of Metropolis.Presents sponsorship program details and execution points to the property leadership and operational departments via email notification, presentations and/or meetings as deemed appropriate by management.Participates in local Chamber of Commerce events as a representative of Harrah's Metropolis.Interfaces with other departments to manage activities that require advertising, as well as tracking results of all direct response advertising programs.Serves as a company spokesperson for all Public Relations and Community events, including issuance of Press Releases, maintaining relationships with key media contacts and proposing special media events including press conferences and press receptions.Financial planning, budgeting, analysis and evaluation of assigned areas of responsibility, and execution of advertising, public relations, sponsorship, and charitable budgets.Steward of the Harrah's brand, managing usage, brand standards, and development of strategic marketing plans to enhance the brand.Property signage planning, development, and execution.Assists with creation and execution of email, social, mobile and online communications content and advertising.Submit website update requests to manage accurate information and updated promotion advertisement.Other duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:PHYSICAL-Must be able to:Be mobile to move reasonably quickly throughout the casino, up and down stairs frequently.Walk and stand for long periods of time.Operate a computer with manual dexterity and with reasonable accommodations.See to operate a computer screen to verify customer bonus point/comp accounts, read written instructions, memoranda, job description, etc.Tolerate noisy, stressful environment.Lift a minimum of 20 pounds.Hear well enough to respond to P.A. system, radio, etc. Can be augmented with a hearing aid.Use telephone and radio to communicate.Climb stairs repeatedly.MENTAL- Must be able to:Must be able to read, write and speak.Proficient financial skills.Understand and comply with all policies and procedures, job description, daily memorandums, and other instructions.Must be able to understand and communicate, verbally and written with management, staff and guests.Must be able to work under stressful conditions.PREREQUISITES/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Prefer Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing or related field. Must have excellent organizational, written and communication skills. Three to five years experience in sales, Promotions or Marketing. Analytical marketing or a strong analytical background desired. Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe CS including InDesign, Photoshop. Must be able to multi-task and be very detailed oriented. Must be able to get along with co-workers as a team.
