IT Services can include a wide range of activities such as: software development, data management, Cloud services, IT security, network security, technical support, establishing and overseeing access rights, procuring and maintaining equipment or software, managing the infrastructure, and defining security procedures, The overall goal of IT Services is to provide technology solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and give our company a competitive advantage over our competitors.Our Infrastructure group is looking for a Systems/Network Administration Specialist to join their team and work a hybrid schedule out of the Cincinnati office.Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automation solutions for on-prem and hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • Ensure automation solutions adhere to security baselines and best practices.
  • Document automation processes, standards, and workflows.
  • Support infrastructure modernization efforts by evaluating and recommending automation tools and platforms.
QualificationsExperience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on automation and scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell DSC).
  • Familiarity with Vmware, Windows, and Linux environments
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly GIT.
  • Familiarity with automation platforms such as Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), VMware vRO/vRA, Azure Automation, Morpheus
Skill Set:
  • Infrastructure automation and scripting (PowerShell, Javascript, Python, Bash).
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible).
  • Configuration management (MECM, Intune, AAP).
  • Systems administration (Windows, Linux).
  • Virtualization technologies (Vmware VCF, Azure Local).
  • Networking fundamentals (IPAM, vLAN, DHCP, DNS, Load Balancing)
  • Security (Checkpoint, illumio, NSX).
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
Preferred:
  • Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
