Job Title: Junior ArchitectJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Junior Architect proficient in REVIT to contribute to the development of construction documents and architectural designs. As a Junior Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the management and execution of two projects under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager or Partner. This position requires a strong understanding of architecture, with an emphasis on multi-family and mixed-use projects.Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day project activities and oversee assistants on assigned projects.
Analyze project context, building materials, and precedents to inform design decisions.
Develop conceptual and preliminary designs in plan, section, and elevation.
Create 3D visualizations of design concepts using various mediums.
Conduct project site planning, zoning and local code analysis, and building code application.
Design and detail architectural systems and components for buildings.
Read and interpret drawings, technical documentation, schematics, and reports.
Essential Skills
2-4 years of architecture experience.
Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Design Suite.
Ability to produce construction drawings and documents.
Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, structures, systems, construction materials, and specifications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and leadership abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
B.S. degree in Architecture.
Experience with mixed-use and/or multi-family projects is a strong plus.
A demonstrated ability to learn the basics of design and analyses within the discipline.
