- Manage the full caregiver recruitment cycle
- Manage job ads and applicant tracking
- Attend job fairs
- Processing applications (conducting interviews, reference checks, background checks)
- Managing electronic onboarding process
- Develop and maintain new hire packets
- Present orientation, including set up and breakdown
- Input caregiver data into the home care software/ cross reference for accuracy
- Conduct hands on training with caregivers in the Center of Excellence
- Schedule caregivers with clients
- Make caregiver/ client introductions
- Tracking driver’s license & auto insurance & tests
- Assists with caregiver timekeeping: clock in/out questions
- Manage caregiver’s daily activity
- Conduct quality assurance site checks of each caregiver to ensure care plans are being implemented correctly, policies and procedures are adhered to, and all job duties are performed in a manner that is satisfactory and meets the Senior Helpers brand expectations.
- Creates morale building recognition programs for the caregivers such as Caregiver of the Month, acknowledgments of high-level performances, and training completions.
- Reviews the daily logs and schedules to ensure that each caregiver is following the care plan, is clocked in and out on time and identifies lost hours.
- Develops and disseminates caregiver newsletter.
- Manages all caregiver call outs, late arrivals, early departures, and refusals of assignments; takes appropriate action based on company policies and fills in when necessary
- Professionally and courteously answer and screen all incoming telephone calls.
- Conduct service inquiry calls
- Perform general office duties as assigned.
- Contribute significantly to the efficient daily operation of the office.
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities by providing after-hours phone support.
- 2+ years in home health or related field (required)
- At least 1 year managing staff, hiring, or onboarding; healthcare setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to prioritize tasks
- Conflict management experience
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to visit clients at home within assigned territory
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new software
- Excellent communication skills
- Minimum age: 18
