This position is ONSITE requiring 4 days a week in the office and 1 day working from home.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the ideation, design, development, enhancement, and continuous improvement of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Spend approximately half your time on ideation and design, including:Evaluating current CI pipelines and designing new solutions leveraging AWS functions.Designing, developing, and improving existing AWS environments by enhancing CloudFormation and Terraform scripts.Partnering with development teams to improve efficiencies.Collaborating with architecture teams to ideate and design infrastructure, environment, and CI/CD improvements.Gathering technical requirements to document Features, Stories, and High-Level Designs (HLDs).Spend approximately half your time on development, such as:Enhancing existing Entitlements Server Pipelines to integrate automated end-to-end testing.Developing end-to-end design leveraging AWS resources.Developing microservices in Python or Java on AWS.Working with automation framework teams to create CI solutions for improved automated testing.Ideating, designing, and implementing enhanced production monitoring across all products.Creating new CI/CD pipelines for new projects.Building system monitoring dashboards and KPIs.Implementing industry and AWS best practices for deployment, monitoring, and alerting.Required QualificationsIndependent, self-starting problem solver with a creative passion for DevOps solutions using various tools, strategies, and techniquesDesign documentation skills and comfortable writing/prioritizing Agile Epics, Features, and StoriesExperience leading feature grooming sessions with leadership and other teamsRecognized as a DevOps thought leader, contributing to process improvementExperience designing and deploying AWS solutions using EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, Elastic Load Balancer, Auto Scaling Groups, and CloudFormationWorking knowledge of branching and merging code in GitLabStrong working knowledge of developing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab Runner Pipelines, or equivalent experience with Jenkins)Understanding of AWS Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and AWS networkingStrong documentation, design, and communication skillsMotivation and skill to code automated pipelines and AWS solutions versus manual configurationsExperience integrating automated end-to-end testing into CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of industry best practices for DevOps in a cloud environmentExperience working in an Agile environmentWillingness to mentor and advise engineering team membersSolid understanding and passion for Continuous Integration and Continuous DeploymentPreferred Qualifications5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps rolesProficient with Docker-based container deployments for development environments and release delivery, including managing Docker containers in Kubernetes clusteringProficiency in AWS cloud resources and microservices architectureExperience coding in Python or Java, with RDB or MongoDBExperience integrating tools such as GitLab, JIRA, Confluence, Webex Teams, and/or Slack for automated information sharingExperience managing and deploying server releases to productionExperience supporting, monitoring, and developing alerts for production environmentsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldWork AuthorizationMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipNo Corp-to-Corp (C2C) or 1099 arrangementsSponsorship for H1B, OPT, or other work visas (now or in the future) is not availableWork LocationONSITE 4 days in the office / 1 day at home, Denver, COEmployment TypeFull-time, W-2 onlyBenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive health benefits package401(k) retirement planGenerous paid time off and professional development opportunitiesEEO StatementInfiligence is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
