To that purpose, we are committed to providing our customers with an easy and fun furniture shopping experience. The Lab Store Coordinator is critical in ensuring we meet that goal. As the Lab Store Coordinator, you will play a key role in the movement of product between the Columbus Distribution Center and the Home Office Lab Store in a manner that is efficient and timely.As the Lab Store Coordinator, you will:
  • Ensures all new merchandise is fully inspected and the results communicated to the Merchandising team
  • Monitors inventory control as directed by supervisor
  • Transfers merchandise using the Company computer system (AS400). Ensures information entered is accurate and timely
  • May operate equipment including a forklift and stock picker DC/Lab Store
  • Pulls initial stock/sample merchandise for inspections. Opens samples/stocks for assembly
  • Opens sample and stock merchandise for the Lab Store
  • Removes trash and monitors AS-IS and storage merchandise racks
  • Pulls product for photo room
  • Loads and unloads Photo Room trailers
  • Returns stock merchandise to appropriate area as directed by supervisor
  • May require off-site photo shoots/visits as well as special projects
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Minimum High School diploma
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to obtain forklift and stock picker license, Company will provide certification
