  • Ability to work proficiently in accounting software
  • Aiding accounting in Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable
  • Assisting in bid solicitation through Procore
  • Prequalifying and managing subcontractor / supplier database
  • Assisting in estimating and subcontractor scope reviews
  • Assisting in planning and implementation of projects
  • Generating purchase orders and change orders
  • Generating and updating project construction schedules
  • Procuring materials and tracking / coordinating deliveries
  • Maintaining R, S and change order logs
  • Closing out projects and producing close out documents for clients

  • Degree in a construction related field (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture)
  • 1-3 years of Assistant Project Management experience - want someone they can help shape
  • Passion for building relationships at every level (clients, subcontractors and co-workers)
  • Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and committed to excellence
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in construction means and methods
  • Assisting in solutions to job-related issues for a win-win outcome

  • My client is a mid-sized Commercial General Contractor that was founded in 1987. They just celebrated their 38th anniversary this July.
  • They have about 25 employees total between the office and the field.
  • In terms of projects, they are diversified in what they build which allows them to stay really busy in the industry. They touch all market sectors - some examples of projects they do frequently are churches, banks. car washes, retirement homes, medical clinics - all being a mix of Ground Up, TI, and Remodels
  • As a firm they do around $25-$30M per year - for 2025 and 2026 they have a strong backlog, making it an amazing time to get your foot in the door with them.
  • Project sizes are typically a bit smaller around $2-3M (this is their sweet spot) but they can get up to $15M- 20M on some projects.
  • Main goal for my client over the next 5 years is growth for the company and for their employees. They like to promote from within and grow individuals within the company.

  • Competitive base salary up to $85,000 (Depending upon experience level)
