- Serve as a key liaison between vendors, the home office, and store teams, maintaining clear, professional, and proactive communication across all levels
- Manage end-to-end category product lifecycle: ordering, pricing, promotions, markdowns, and discontinuations
- Collaborate with the Operations Team on planogram rollouts, merchandising resets, and store-level execution of promotional initiatives
- Develop and execute a monthly promotional calendar
- Conduct regular store walk-throughs with leadership to ensure merchandising standards and category execution
- Design strategies to optimize product movement and inventory turns while being mindful of space constraints in stores
- Lead training sessions and coordinate with internal departments and vendors during new store openings and remodels
- Engage and motivate store staff by creating and managing cashier/manager sales contests, including communication of goals and tracking results
- Notify store managers of product discontinuations and markdowns to support seamless in-store execution
- Develop and maintain loss prevention strategies in the warehouse and all retail store locations
- Create and communicate product signage strategies to stores
- Attend semi-annual trade shows to purchase product, schedule deliveries, and gain new retail insights
- Manage logistics including shipping, invoicing, and distribution of product to retail locations
- 2 years of retail merchandising experience OR an Associate's Degree from an accredited education institution in a business related field
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage time effectively
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial attitude
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to inventory management and product invoicing
- Ability to read and interpret sales reports, inventory ordering sheets, and other critical documents
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours per day
